Canada Winter Games (Male)

The HNSOP is proud to announce that two of our officials have been selected to the officiating staff for the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Red Deer, Alberta.  The male tournament takes place from February 16th-22nd. 
 

Congratulations go to Matt Mroz (referee) and Garrett Merrill (linesman).  Matt is from Cole Harbour, NS and recently completed his Level 5 certification at the 2018 Atlantic Level 4/5 Seminar in Halifax, Matt works as a referee in the MHL, NSJHL and NSMMHL. Garrett is from Bedford, NS and just completed his Level 4 upgrade.  He works as a linesman at the AUS, MHL and NSJHL levels.

Congratulations again to Matt and Garrett on this once-in-a-lifetime assignment.
