Shauna is a level ...The HNSOP wishes to congratulate six of our officials that have been selected by Hockey Canada as part of the on-ice officiating staff for the 2020 USport National Hockey Championships, from March 12-15.
SHAUNA NEARY has been selected as a referee for the Female Championship in Charlottetown, PEI. Shauna is a level 5 official from Herring Cove, NS. SOPHIE THOMSON (Halifax), MIRANDA MACMILLAN (Truro) and MADISON PENDLETON (Antigonish) have been selected to work the lines.
STEPHEN STARZOMSKI has been selected as a referee for the Male Championship in Halifax (hosted by Acadia University. Stephen is a level 6 official, originally from Antigonish, NS. SEAN HAGEN is a Level 5 official from Cole Harbour and he has been selected as a linement for the event for a second time.
Congratulations to all six of our officials on these prestigious assignments.
